Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy governs purchases, subscriptions, software development, consulting engagements, digital products, staffing services, and all other offerings provided by Techtiks.

1. Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs purchases, subscriptions, software development services, consulting engagements, digital products, SaaS platforms, staffing services, and all other offerings provided by Techtiks ("Techtiks," "we," "our," or "us").
By purchasing or using our Services, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. General Policy
Due to the nature of digital services, software development, consulting, staffing, and intellectual property-based work, all payments made to Techtiks are generally non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in a written agreement.
Refund requests are evaluated solely at the discretion of Techtiks and subject to the terms outlined below.
3. Non-Refundable Services
The following are strictly non-refundable:
- Discovery and consultation fees
- Strategy sessions
- Branding services
- Design services
- UI/UX services
- Custom software development
- Web development
- Mobile application development
- SaaS development
- Shopify development
- AI development services
- Staff augmentation services
- Dedicated developer engagements
- Technical support services
- Maintenance retainers
- Digital products
- Downloadable products
- Templates
- Reports
- Audits
- Research services
- Any completed milestone
- Any work already performed
Once work has commenced, associated fees become non-refundable.
4. Deposits and Project Initiation Fees
All deposits, onboarding fees, setup fees, reservation fees, and project initiation payments are non-refundable.
These payments compensate Techtiks for resource allocation, planning, scheduling, project preparation, staffing commitments, and administrative costs.
5. Milestone-Based Projects
For milestone-based projects:
- Completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Approved milestones are deemed accepted.
- Invoices for completed milestones remain payable regardless of future project status.
If a project is paused, delayed, abandoned, or terminated by the client, refunds shall not be issued for completed work.
6. Client Delays and Abandoned Projects
If a client fails to provide feedback, approvals, content, credentials, materials, or communication necessary to continue a project for thirty (30) consecutive days:
- The project may be placed on hold.
- Resources may be reassigned.
- Project timelines may be adjusted.
No refunds shall be provided for delays caused by client inactivity.
7. Subscription Services
For subscription-based services:
- Charges are billed in advance.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable.
- Partial billing period refunds are not provided.
- Cancellation prevents future billing only.
Users remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation.
8. Dedicated Resources and Staff Augmentation
For dedicated developer, contractor, consultant, engineering, or staffing engagements:
- Reserved resources are allocated specifically for the client.
- Monthly commitments are non-refundable.
- Resource replacement does not create refund eligibility.
- Unused allocated hours do not qualify for refunds unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Change of Mind
Refunds shall not be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Business closure
- Internal budget changes
- Strategic changes
- Management decisions
- Market conditions
- Competitive factors
- Preference changes
- Delayed launches
- Failure to achieve anticipated business results
10. Digital Products
All sales of digital products, downloadable materials, software licenses, subscriptions, templates, documentation, AI-generated content, reports, and related digital assets are final.
Refunds are not available once access has been granted or delivery has occurred.
11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact Techtiks before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.
Where a chargeback is filed, Techtiks reserves the right to submit supporting evidence, including:
- Signed agreements
- Proposals
- Statements of work
- Email communications
- Project records
- Development logs
- Access records
- Time tracking reports
- Delivery confirmations
- Acceptance approvals
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in immediate suspension or termination of Services.
12. Exceptional Refund Circumstances
At its sole discretion, Techtiks may consider a partial refund if:
- Services were paid for but never initiated by Techtiks.
- Duplicate payments occurred.
- Billing errors occurred.
- Applicable law requires a refund.
Any approved refund amount shall be determined solely by Techtiks.
13. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued through the original payment method whenever possible.
- Processing times depend on banks, card networks, and payment providers.
- Processing may take between 5 and 30 business days.
Transaction fees, processing fees, wire fees, currency conversion costs, and third-party charges may be deducted from approved refunds where permitted by law.
14. Cancellation by Techtiks
Techtiks reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or terminate Services for:
- Non-payment
- Fraud
- Abuse
- Security concerns
- Violations of agreements
- Illegal activity
- Breach of Terms and Conditions
Such termination does not automatically create refund eligibility.
15. Limitation of Refund Rights
The issuance of a refund in one circumstance does not obligate Techtiks to issue refunds in future situations.
Each request shall be reviewed independently.
